A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING A FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTION OF FIVE HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($500) IN SUPPORT OF THE 1998 AGUA HEDIONDA
LAGOON CLEANUP.

8 WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has received a cash
9 donation totaling five hundred dollars ($500) from the Kelly Land Company in
WHEREAS, the annual Agua Hedionda Lagoon Cleanup will be held June
20, 1998; and

I.1 II WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has recommended

13 ll acceptance of this donation by the City Council; and
14 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this donation and

donate to this program. X
acknowledge the generosity and support of community organizations who
17 I/ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
18 11 !I Carlsbad, California, the following: 19
20 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
21 2. That the City Council does hereby accept the financial support
