RESOLUTION NO. 98-264
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE
1998 STREET SEALING PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 36671.
5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has determined i

necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to repair minor and cracks and potholes, an(
resurface asphalt streets; and
8 WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, material, tools
equipment, transportation and other expenses necessary or incidental for said project have beet
prepared and are on file in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and art
incorporated by reference herein;

11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
l2 California, as follows:
13 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
14 2. That the plans, specifications, and contract documents as presented are hereb!
I 5 approved.
16 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to publish
17 in accordance with State law, Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the 1998 Street Sealins
Project, Project No. 36671. 18
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Counci 19
held on the 4th day of August , 1998 by the following vote, to wit:
20 AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin and Hall
