A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING BIDS AND
12 FOR THE SWIM COMPLEX ADA IMPROVEMENTS
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACT NO. FAC98-
WHEREAS, bids have been received by the City of Carlsbad, California for the Sw
5 Complex ADA Improvements in accordance with Contract No. FAC98-12; and
6 WHEREAS, the lowest responsive bid received for this project was submitted

Wharton General Contractors, in the amount of $53,020.00; and
WHEREAS, the total estimated cost of this project is $60,000.00, including continger
funds; and
9 WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Capital Improvement Program, AI

Mandate - City Facilities project.

Improvements, Contract No. FAC98-12 is hereby accepted and the Purchasl 14
2. The bid of $53,020.00 by Wharton General Contractors for the Swim Complex AI 13
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
Officer is hereby authorized to execute a purchase order for this project.
3. The Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to execute
contract for and on behalf of the City of Carlsbad.
