RESOLUTION NO. 98-271
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE DEMOLITION AND REMOVAL
OF THE SPLIT PAVILION, PROJECT NO. 3615.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determined
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to demolish and remove the Split Pavilior
Project No. 3615; and
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, material, tool
equipment, transportation, and other expenses necessary or incidental of said project have be€
prepared and are on file in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and a
incorporated by reference herein; and

12 WHEREAS, funding from the General Capital Construction (GCC) fund includes sufficie

15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsba
16 California, as follows:
17 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

1 3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to

and removal of the Split Pavilion, Project No. 3615, in accordance with the plans, 3
publish, in accordance with State law, a Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the demolition

specifications, and contract documents referred to herein.
6 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Counc
7 held on the 4th day of August , 1998 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin and Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
