RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING CONTRACT
DOCUMENTS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR
BIDS FOR CURB GUTTER & SIDEWALK REPLACEMENT
CONTRACT NO. STS98003
WHEREAS, the contract documents, special provisions and specifications for the

furnishing of all labor, material and equipment necessary to complete Curb Gutter & Sidewalk
Department, Street Maintenance Division and are incorporated by reference herein; and 9
Replacement Contract No. STS98003 have been prepared and are on file in the Public Works

11 budget.
WHEREAS sufficient funds are available for this project in the Major Street Maintenance
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE City Council of the City of Carlsbad a:

1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The contract documents, special provisions and specifications as presented arc

hereby approved.

3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to proceed tc
publish, in accordance with law, Notice Inviting Bids for the work of said contrac
documents, special provisions and specifications.
