RESOLUTION NO. 98-325
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE
OF FIRE FIGHTER’S STATION UNIFORMS
WHEREAS, WHEREAS, it is advantageous to the City to join with other agencies
in the purchase of fire hose; and
WHEREAS, bids submitted by four vendors were judged against known criteria; and
WHEREAS, Long Beach Uniform Company Inc. was the lowest, responsible bidder
submitting a responsive bid;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the bid from Long Beach Uniform Company Inc., 2700 Juniper0 Avenue,
Signal Hill, CA 90806 is hereby accepted and the Purchasing Officer is hereby
authorized to execute a Purchase Order for these items as the need arises for
a period of one year beginning October 7, 1998 through October 6, 1999
which may be renewed by the City Manager for three (3) additional one (I)
year periods.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad held on the 6th day of October , 1998, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Finnila, Nygaard, and Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Ku
