RESOLUTION NO. 98-367
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A
REVISED SALARY SCHEDULE FOR CLASSIFICATIONS
REPRESENTED BY THE CARLSBAD POLICE OFFICERS'
ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, representatives of management and the Carlsbad Police Officers'

wages and other terms and conditions of employment for the period January 1, 1996 to 9
Association conducted negotiations pursuant to the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act regarding

December 3 1,1998; and
12 ll WHEREAS, said representatives reached agreement and submitted the

WHEREAS, the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding call for a 2% 14
Memorandum of Understanding to the City Council which was approved; and
general wage increase effective November 30, 1998, and

WHEREAS, funds for this salary adjustment are available and have been included
in the Police Department operating budget for Fiscal Year 1998199.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
20 Carlsbad, California, as follows:

attached hereto and made a part thereof, is adopted. 24
