2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ACONTRACT FOR THE TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT
AVENUE AND CADENCIAILA COSTA AVENUE, PROJECT NO. 361 0.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has deterrr
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to construct the traffic signals at Rorr
Costa Avenue, Viejo CastillaILa Costa Avenue and CadencialLa Costa Avenue; and

8 WHEREAS, seven (7) sealed bids were received on October 29, 1998 for the proje
9 WHEREAS, the lowest responsive, responsible bid for the project was submi

11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of CE

1 4. That the award of this contract is contingent upon the bidder submitting the

policies, as described in the contract, within twenty (20) days of adoption of this resolutic 3
responsive bid executing the required contract and submitting the required bonds and in!
4 City Manager may grant reasonable extensions of time.

6 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
held on the 17th day of November , 1998 by the following vote, to wit: 7
