RESOLUTION NO. 98-389
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, QUITCLAIM OF EASEMENT
TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE PURPOSES.
CT 94-09, CARLSBAD RANCH, ORIGINALLY DEDICATED FOR
5 WHEREAS, Leg0 Carlsbad AG (Lego Carlsbad Inc.) a Swiss company has sub1
6 request for Quitclaim of Easement for traffic signal maintenance purposes; and

WHEREAS, there is now a dedicated public road, Armada Drive, overlaying th
signal maintenance easement; and
WHEREAS, staff has determined that the traffic signal maintenance easemer
longer needed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it to be in thi
interest to quitclaim said easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of C;
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Quitclaim Deed conveying Partnership Grant Deed of Easement

incorporated by this reference; is approved. 15

3. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the deed and the City Clerk is
authorized to cause the original Quitclaim Deed to be recorded in the Office of the 16
17 Recorder of San Diego County, State of California.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City 19 held on the 1st day of December , 1998 by the following vote, to wit:
