A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING $2,480 FROM THE HOUSING TRUST FUND
FOR THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY COLD WEATHER SHELTER VOUCHER
PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FORWARD THE
APPROPRIATION TO THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO.

WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad desires to cooperate with other local agencies to ad1

9 elderly from November 1, 1998 through April 30, 1999;
shelter needs of homeless persons and families; and
WHEREAS, the County of San Diego is requesting assistance in funding a Cold
Voucher Program to provide emergency shelter for homeless families, disabled individuals

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council hereby appropriates $2,480 from the Housing Trust Fund fol
l3 Diego County Cold Weather Shelter Voucher Program and authorizes the City Manager to for
14 contribution to the County of San Diego.
