RESOLUTION NO. 98-401
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A SITE
DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND COASTAL DEVELOPMENT
PERMIT TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A 288 UNIT
APARTMENT COMPLEX ON COASTAL ZONE PROPERTY
LOCATED AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF POINSETTIA
LANE AND AMBROSIA LANE IN THE SOUTHWEST
QUADRANT.
CASE NO.: SDP 98-1 O/CDP 98-43
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code, the
CASE NAME: JPI - AVIARA PLANNING AREA 18
Commission did, on November 4, 1998, hold a duly noticed public hearing as prescribe
to consider a Site Development Plan and Coastal Development Permit; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, on the 8th
December , 1998, held a duly noticed public hearing to consider said Site Devc
Plan and Coastal Development Permit and at that time received recommendations, ot
protests, comments of all persons interested in or opposed to SDP 98-1O/CDP 98-43; 2
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council o
of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council APPROVES City Council Resolution No. 98-401
that the findings and conditions of the Planning Commission as sei
Planning Commission Resolutions No. 4415 and 4416 on file with the C
and made a part hereof by reference are the findings and conditions oi
Council.
3. That the application for a Site Development Plan (SDP 98-10) to :
construction of a 288 unit apartment complex in Aviara Planning Area It
on the southeast corner of Poinsettia Lane and Ambrosia Lane, is app
shown in Planning Commission Resolution No. 4415.
4. That the application for a Coastal Development Permit (CDP 98-43) to
construction of a 288 unit apartment complex on coastal zone propert
Planning Area 18), located on the southeast corner of Poinsettia L
Ambrosia Lane, is approved as shown in Planning Commission Resol
441 6.
