RESOLUTION NO. 99-1
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING A DONATION TO THE CARLSBAD CITY LIBRARY FRO
BENJAMIN SCHULMAN AND APPROVING NAMING OF THE NEW
LIBRARY AUDITORIUM IN MEMORY OF RUBY G. SCHULMAN.
WHEREAS, Mr. Benjamin Schulman wishes to donate $100,000 to SI
programs in the auditorium of the new library; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Benjamin Schulman wishes to have the auditorium o
new library named in memory of his late wife, Ruby G. Schulman; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift to the Carlsbad

10 WHEREAS, the City Council hereby wishes to designate the auditoriL

3. That the City Council hereby authorizes the Finance Departme 17
