RESOLUTION NO. 99-2
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM THE
CALIFORNIA LIBRARY LITERACY SERVICE.
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library Adult Learning Program prov
training to meet the literacy needs of the adult population; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad City Library Adult Learning Program support:
goals of the City Council and the objectives of the library; and
WHEREAS, the California State Library is providing additional suppor
the Library Adult Learning Program with grant funds in the amount of $25,149;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the C
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That state funds in the amount of $25,149 are hereby appropriatt
the Library 1998-1 999 Literacy Grant Accounts.
3. That accrued interest is hereby appropriated to account # 001-4
7550.
