RESOLUTION NO. 99-8
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF LA COSTA AVENUEWIDENING,
PROJECT NO. 3215.
WHEREAS, additional funds are required to proceed with the construction of the
5 Avenue Widening project; and

the amount of $857,433 has been used to cover the cost of 13 change orders in the E 7
WHEREAS, the previously appropriated contingency funds for the City’s portion of th
$857,256; and
WHEREAS, City Council has previously appropriated $6,314,000 in the 9 Capital Improvement Program for design, construction, administration, and inspection of sa.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, ( 12
WHEREAS, additional funds in the amount of $395,000 are required for contingency fi
13 as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the appropriation of $395,000 is hereby approved.
3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to approve construction change

17 4. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to appropriate an additional
18 from CFD #I.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Co 19
