RESOLUTION NO. 99-22
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE CONSULTANT
AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR
IMPLEMENTATION OF AN INTEGRATED TRANSPORTATION
PROGRAM AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad solicited Request for
Qualifications from consulting civil engineering firms to perform the traffic engineering services for
the implementation of an Integrated Transportation Program in Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the firm of O’Rourke Engineering was selected as the most qualified to
perform the work; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad hereby finds it necessary, desirable,
and in the public interest to award the consultant agreement to O’Rourke Engineering to provide
services for said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the consultant fee of $85,406 is appropriated from the City Council
Contingency Account.

directed to forward a copy of said agreement and this resolution to O'Rourke Engin 4
Following the Mayor's signature of said agreement, the City Clerk is further authorizt 3
the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agree

8 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City
9 held on the 12th day of January , 1999 by the following vote, to wit:
