RESOLUTION NO. gg - 39
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
DONATIONS OF MERCHANDISE AND FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS
VALUING A TOTAL OF NINE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TEN DOLLARS
($9,210) IN SUPPORT OF THE YOUTH BASKETBALL PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the Youth Basketball program began in November, 1998 and runs througt
March, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has received donations of goods ani
money totaling nine thousand two hundred ten dollars ($9,210), a copy of which is attached heretc
and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has recommended acceptance t
these donations by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept these donations and acknowledge thc
generosity and support of community vendors and organizations who donated to these programs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad
California, the following:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2.That the City Council does hereby accept the merchandise and financial support totalin!
nine thousand two hundred ten dollars ($9,210).
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of thc

City of Carlsbad, California, held on the s day of / , 1999, by the following vote to wit:
