RESOLUTION NO. 99-40
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING
DONATIONS OF MERCHANDISE, GIFT CERTIFICATES AND IN KIND
SERVICES VALUING A TOTAL OF FOUR THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($4,600) IN SUPPORT OF THE FALL FESTIVAL.
WHEREAS, the Fall Festival was held on October 31, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has received merchandise, gl
certificates and in kind service donations in support of the Fall Festival, a listing of which
attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has recommended acceptance I
these donations by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept these donations and acknowledge tt
generosity and support of community vendors and organizations who donated to this speci
event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsba,
California, the following:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept the merchandise, gift certificates and
kind service donations totaling four thousand six hundred dollars ($4,600).
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of tt

City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 9th day of / , 1999, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard and Kulchin
