RESOLUTION NO. 99-58
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A
CASH DONATION OF FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500) IN SUPPORT OF
THE OPPORTUNITY GRANTS SCHOLARSHIP FUND.
WHEREAS, the Opportunity Grants Program began the week of June 1, 1998; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has received a cash donation of fh
hundred dollars ($500) from Amy Kraft; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Commission has recommended acceptance of tt-
donation by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this donation and acknowledge tt-
generosity and support of the community individuals and organizations who donate to th
program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsba
California, the following:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept the financial support totaling fi\
hundred dollars ($500).
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of tt
