RESOLUTION NO. 99-66
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AB 3229 FUNDING FOR
1998-99 YEAR-ROUND POLICE OFFICER BICYCLE PATROL
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad held a public hearing on Feb:
5 l6 , 1999, to accept comments for the appropriation of AB 3229 (Brulte) Citizens Opi
Public Safety (COPS) funding and interest earned to continue the support the 1998-99 ye 6

allocations following the public hearing on February 16 , 1999; and 9
WHEREAS, the City Council selected the year-round bicycle patrol program and 8
round bicycle patrol program; and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council has taken all public testimony and comments into ac
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbac
12 California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The City Council hereby appropriates COPS funding of $166,229.12 plus ir

to the Police Department COPS bicycle patrol fund.
