RESOLUTION NO. 99-71
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION
FROM THE CARLSBAD ARTS ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Arts Office provides “a variety of quality cultural F
including all forms of visual and performing arts, to all Carlsbad residents”; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the Carlsbad Arts Associates is to support the progra
Carlsbad Arts Office; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Arts Associates is providing funds in the amount of $
assist with the City’s summer jazz concert series and special events; and
WHEREAS, the $12,000 will be deposited in the Arts Office Special Events Fund
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Car
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the donation of $12,000 from the Carlsbad Arts Associates is accepte, appropriated to the Arts Special Events Fund for the jazz concerts and spe events.
