II RESOLUTION NO. 99-89
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF THE CARLSBAD BOULEVARD BIKE LANE,
PROJECT NO. 3591.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has deterr
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to construct Carlsbad Boulevard Bike Lant
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, material
equipment, transportation and other expenses necessary or incidental of said project ha!
prepared and are on file in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad i
incorporated by reference herein; and
WHEREAS, TDA funds in the amount of $53,500 are available for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of C
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans, specifications, and contract documents are on file in the offic
City Engineer.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to pu
accordance with State law, a Notice to Contractors Inviting Bids for the construction of C
Boulevard Bike Lane, Project No. 3591 , in accordance with the plans, specifications, and (
documents referred to herein.
4. That the appropriation of Transportation Development (TDA) Funds in the an
