RESOLUTION NO. 99-115
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING IMMEDIATE LUMP SUM
REIMBURSEMENT TO DARBY CREEWCARLSBAD, LLC FOR
COST OF A TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF ALGA
ROAD AND MELROSE DRIVE.
WHEREAS, the Darby CreeWCarlsbad, LLC, as a condition of approval for
development of the Meadowlands, did complete the installation of the traffic signal at
intersection of Alga Road and Melrose Drive; and
WHEREAS, the Darby CreeWCarlsbad, LLC has submitted detailed accounting reco
verified by City Staff, which show that the total audited cost to install the signal was $39,500
and
WHEREAS, adequate funds currently exist within Account Number 320700009(
35781-900 to reimburse the developer for the installation of their portion of the traffic signal.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlst
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Finance Director is hereby directed to make an immediate one-t
reimbursement to the Darby CreeWCarlsbad, LLC in the amount of $39,500.00 for the installa
of the traffic signal.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City COUI
held on the 6th day of April , 1998 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Hall, Finnila, Nygaard and Kulchin
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Lewis
