A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARISBAD,
CONSOLIDATED FUNDING STRATEGY AND PLAN FOR THE CITY’S
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTLHOME PROGRAM TO THE
U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
CALIFQRNIA, APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF THE 1999-2000

WHEREAS, the City must prepare an Annual Consolidated Funding Strategy and Plan outli~ 7
meeting on March 9,1999; and, 6
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, selected projects and fun(
allocations for the City’s 1998-99 Community Development Block Grant/HOME Program during a pu
all projects to be undertaken to meet the needs of low and moderate income residents, activities to add
8 the housing needs of the homeless and actions to foster and maintain affordable housing opportunities

WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad’s 1999-2000 Consolidated Funding Strategy has been prep:
and made available for public review and comment for thirty (30) days beginning March 15, 1999; an1
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken all testimony into account.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council approves the submittal of the 1999-2000 Consolidated Fund
Strategy and Plan for the Community Development Block Grant/HOME Program to the I
Department of Housing and Urban Development.
3. That the Housing and Redevelopment Director is authorized to submit the Consolids
Funding Strategy and Plan, to the US. Department of Housing and Urban Development
approval.
