RESOLUTION NO. 99-151
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO
AMERICAS TO PROVIDE MONITORING SERVICES AND
CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT FOR THE MACARIO CANYON
BRIDGE, PROJECT NO. 31 84.
AGREEMENT WITH WOODWARD-CLYDE INTERNATIONAL
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has reviewed the need for monitc
and construction support services for the Macario Canyon Bridge; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that Woodward-Clyde Internatic
Americas is the geotechnical engineer of record and, therefore, has the necessary qualificatic
and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available in the Cannon Road West project account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsl
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That an agreement between the City of Carlsbad and Woodward-CI
International Americas for monitoring and support services, copies identified as Exhibit 1,
hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directec
execute said agreements for and on behalf of the City of Carlsbad.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City COL
held on the 4 th day of May , 1999 by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Hall, Nygaard & Finnila
