A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR GIBRALTER STREET EMERGENCY
ACCESS ROAD RECONSTRUCTION, PROJECT NO. 3626.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determine
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to reconstruct the emergency access road f
Gibralter Street to Corte De La Vista; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Director has determined that this project is categorically exe
from the provisions of Sections 15300 and 1530 (c) of the Guidelines of the Califo.
Environmental Quality Act; and
WHEREAS, there will be no significant unmitigable effect, not analyzed therein; and
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, material, to
equipment, transportation and other expenses necessary or incidental for said project have bl
prepared and are on file in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and
incorporated by reference herein; and
WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Program for 1998-1999 has appropriated fund:
construct this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsb
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans, specifications, and contract documents as presented are here
approved.
