RESOLUTION NO. 99-183
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A QUITCLAIM FOR AN
OPEN SPACE EASEMENT ORIGINALLY DEDICATED TO THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD.
5 WHEREAS, Continental Ranch, Inc., a Delaware corporation, has submitted a reques'
6 quitclaim of an open space easement which was originally dedicated to the City of Carlsbad (
7 a portion of their property located south of Palomar Airport Road ; and
8 WHEREAS, said easement was never utilized for the purpose for which it was grar
and is not now nor is it contemplated to be needed for the purpose of an open space easemc
and

10 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has determined it to be in the pu
11 interest to quitclaim said easements;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlst
I3 California, as follows:

2. That the Quitclaim Deed of an open space over a portion of APN 222-6OO-OL 15
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
16 Continental Ranch, Inc., a Delaware corporation, which is on file with the City Clerk anc
17 incorporated by this reference; is approved.

2 3. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the original Quitclaim Deed and the
3 Clerk is hereby authorized to cause the original Quitclaim Deed to be released to the prop
owners to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, Statc
California.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City COL
6 held on the 1st day of June , 1999 by the following vote, to wit:
7 AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin
8 NOES: None.
