RESOLUTION NO. 99-196
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL AND AUTHORIZING
THE PURCHASE OF TELEPHONE SYSTEM EQUIPMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad requires the upgrade of telephone syst
equipment, and;
WHEREAS, proper procedures have resulted in the receipt of proposals fr
qualified vendors;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsl
as follows:
I. The telephone system upgrade part of the proposal from NEC Business Neb
Solutions, Inc. is hereby accepted.
2. That an additional $223,800 is hereby appropriated to the Telecommunicati
project from the General Capital Construction Fund balance for the project.
3. The Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized and directed to issue purcb
orders for the telephone systems upgrade.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
of Carlsbad held on the 1st day of June , 1999, by the following
to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard, Kulchin
