HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-06-22; City Council; Resolution 99-223L’ 0 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 I I RESOLUTION NO. 99-223 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ENGINEER’S REPORT FOR THE PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNUAL LEVY OF ASSESSMENTS WITHIN A SPECIAL MAINTENANCE DISTRICT WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, pursuant to the terr the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972, being Division 15, Part 2 of the Streets Highways Code of the State of California, did by previous resolution initiate proceedings ordered the preparation of an Engineer‘s Report for the annual levy of assessments wit1 special maintenance district, said special maintenance district known and designated as S Lighting and Landscaping District No. 1 (hereinafter referred to as the Maintenance Disl and, WHEREAS, there has now been presented to this City Council the Report as reql by said Division 15 of the Streets and Highways Code and as previously directed by resoli and, WHEREAS, this City Council has now carefully examined and reviewed the Rep0 presented, and is satisfied with each and all of the items and documents as set forth the and is satisfied that the assessments, on a preliminary basis, have been spread in accord with the benefits received from the improvements to be maintained, as set forth in said Rep NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the above recitals are all true and correct. SECTION 2. That the Report as presented consists of the following: A. Plans and specifications describing the general nature, location and extent of th improvements to be maintained. B. Estimate of cost, including the amount of the annual installment for the forthcomin fiscal year. C. Diagram of the Maintenance District. ~1 I L %a , . 0 0 D. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this Resoh and the minutes of this meeting shall so reflect the presentation of the Engineer's Report.
