RESOLUTION NO. 99-239
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A
REVISED SALARY SCHEDULE FOR CLASSIFICATIONS
REPRESENTED BY THE CARLSBAD POLICE OFFICERS’
ASSOCIATION.

8 Association conducted negotiations pursuant to the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act regarding
WHEREAS, representatives of management and the Carlsbad Police Officers’

wages and other terms and conditions of employment for the period January 1 , 1999 to
December 3 1,2000; and
WHEREAS, said representatives reached agreement and submitted the
Memorandum of Understanding to the City Council which was approved; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding call for a 2%%
general wage increase effective July 1, 1999, and
WHEREAS, funds for this salary adjustment are available and have been included
in the Police Department operating budget for Fiscal Year 1999100.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the Police Department Salary Schedule set forth in Exhibit A,
attached hereto and made a part thereof, is adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad
City Council held on the 6 th day of July , 1999, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Finnila, Hall E, Kulchin
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
