2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
3 OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, CREATING THE CLASS
SPECIFICATION FOR MANAGEMENT INTERN

5 WHEREAS, it is desirous of the city of Carlsbad to support the
6 development of professional public administrators; and

WHEREAS, a management intern program will provide a flexible
personnel resource for the city and its many departments; and
10

12 WHEREAS, the management interns would benefit from exposure to
13 broad range of professional municipal experience.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California as follows:

19 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
20 2. That the Classification of Management Intern at the bi-weekly salary range of
21 $1,246.66 - $1,309.00, is hereby approved.
22 3. That the Conflict of Interest Code is amended to require the Management
23 Intern classification to file under disclosure categories 1,2,3, and 4.
