RESOLUTION NO. 99-245
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
FARADAY AVENUE IMPROVEMENTS, PROJECT NO. 3593 AND
AUTHORIZING A LOAN AND APPROPRIATING THE FUNDS.
6 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determine(
7
its existing westerly terminus to Cannon Road; and 8
necessary, desirable, and in the public interest to construct Faraday Avenue Improvements fl
9 WHEREAS, the Planning Director has determined that this project described in
10 Mitigated Negative Declaration Case No. CDP 98-39 is within its scope; and
11
WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for furnishing of all labor, material, to 12
WHEREAS, there will be no significant unmitigable effect, not analyzed therein; and
13
prepared and are on file in the Engineering Department of the City of Carlsbad and 14
equipment, transportation and other expenses necessary or incidental for said project have bc
incorporated by reference herein; and 15
16 WHEREAS, sufficient funds are available and appropriated for the rl

18 WHEREAS, an additional $170,000 will be required to complete a sewer main; and
19 WHEREAS, funding from Community Facilities District No. 1, Public Facilities Fees c

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsb
24 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
