0 0 RESOLUTION NO. 99-282
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING THE
CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY FOR GALLERY
COORDINATOR, REALLOCATING THE SALARY FOR
PRINCIPAL LIBRARIAN, AND AMENDING THE
MANAGEMENT SALARY STRUCTURE AND CONFLICT OF
INTEREST CODE.
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Council
concurs, that it is desirable and necessary to adopt the classification and salary of
Gallery Coordinator in the Management Classification and Salary Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Council
concurs, that it is desirable and necessary to revise the description and reallocate
the salary of Principal Librarian; and,
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends and the City Council
concurs, that it is desirable and necessary to amend the Management Salary
Structure and Conflict of Interest Code to reflect these changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the new classification of Gallery Coordinator at salary grade 2
and the revised classification of Principal Librarian at salary grade 3 in the
Management Classification and Salary Plan as shown in Attachment A, attached
hereto and made a part thereof, are hereby approved.
3. Resolution No. 98-355 and CMWD Resolution 1028 adopted on
October 27, 1998 which approved the “Local Conflict of Interest Code” is
amended to add the position of Gallery Coordinator to the list of Designated

e w Employees filing in disclosure categories 2 and 3; and to delete the classification
of Library Services Specialist and reclassify the incumbent to Principal Librarian.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad
City Council held on the 10 day Of Auqust , 1999, by thc
following vote, to wit:
Ayes: Council Members Lewis, Nygaard, Finnila, Hall & Kulchin
Noes: None
Absent: None
