RESOLUTION NO. 99-294
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASING
OFFICER TO ISSUE A CITY PURCHASE ORDER TO ACQUIRE
OFFICE SYSTEMS FURNITURE FOR THE CITY’S FARADAY
BUILDING PROJECT. CITY PROJECT NO. 36471
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has previc
appropriated funds for the design and acquisition of the Faraday Building Project, here
referred to as the “Project”; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously appropriated funds in the General Ca
Construction Fund for the acquisition of required office systems furniture and miscellan
equipment for the Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously adopted Resolution No. 95-294 renewi
contract with Office Pavilion of San Diego for the City’s acquisition of office systems hmi.
and
WHEREAS, specifications have been created outlining the required office syr
furniture for the Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby find it necessary, desirable, and in the p~
interest to proceed with the acquisition of the required office systems furniture for the Project
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby authorize the Purchasing Officer to issue a
purchase order to Office Pavilion of San Diego in accordance with the terms and conditior
both the aforementioned agreement with said company and the office systems fum
specifications created for the Project on file in the Purchasing Department.
3. That the City Council does hereby authorize the City Manager to approve subseq
minor changes, additions, subtractions or other modifications to the Office Pavilion 0:
systems furniture purchase for the Project in a cumulative amount not to exceed 25% of
original approved order herewith.
