A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS
FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FARADAY AVENUE GRADING AND
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS. PROJECT NO. 3593.
5 WHEREAS, additional funds are required to proceed with the construction of '
6 Faraday Avenue Grading and Drainage Improvements; and
WHEREAS, the previously appropriated contingency funds for the work has be 7
exhausted; and
8 WHEREAS, additional funds in the amount of $500,000 are required for construction
9 the project.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbi
l 1 California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to approve construction change ordt 12
13 in the amount of the additional contingency.
14 3. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to appropriate an additiot
15 $500,000 from CFD #I.
16 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Cour
17 held on the 14 day of SeDtember , 1999 by the following vote, to wit:
