A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 2
RESOLUTION NO. 99-319
IMPROVEMENT PLANS, PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS AND COST 4
AN AGREEMENT WITH O’DAY CONSULTANTS, INC., FOR DESIGN 3
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 4 TO
SERVICES FOR FARADAY AVENUE EXTENSION FOR
ESTIMATES, PROJECT NO. 3593.
5 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, has determ
it necessary and in the public interest to approve and accept Amendment No. 4 to an agreer

with O’Day Consultants, Inc., for design services for Faraday Avenue Extension for Improver.
Plans, Project Specifications and Cost Estimates; and

9 WHEREAS, the City Council authorized O’Day Consultants to perform the design servi
10
1998; and 11
for the Faraday Avenue Grading and Drainage Project at their regular meeting Septembe
12 WHEREAS, O’Day Consultants, Inc., is the design engineer of record and, therefor,
best qualified to perform the additional surveying service that were required by the reme
grading activates for this project; and

WHEREAS, total estimated costs for these additional services is $25,000; and
WHEREAS, funds are available; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the proposed Amendment No
l7 to an agreement for engineering services with O’Day Consultants, Inc., for design services
18 Faraday Avenue Extension for Improvement Plans, Project Specifications and Cost Estimates.

19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsk
20 California, as follows:
21 I. That the above recitations are true and correct.

Estimates, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 7, is hereby approved.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Cou
held on the 14 day of September , 1999 by the following vote, to wit:
