RESOLUTION NO. 99-330
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL
FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF PALOMAR AIRPORT
ROAD WIDENING, PROJECT NO. 3286.
WHEREAS, additional funds are required to pay for portions of the construction alre
completed on the Palomar Airport Road Widening project, a large complex project; and
WHEREAS, the additional contingency funds are required to complete the project; and
WHEREAS, the change orders to date have reached the limit of the City Manag
approval authority, pursuant to Municipal Code 33.28.1 72(c).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsb
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the additional appropriation of $300,000 from the Public Facilities Fee FI
for the Palomar Airport Road Widening project is hereby approved.
3. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to approve construction char
orders in the total amount of $300,000 (approximately $215,430 shortfall and $84,570 additio
