CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO. 99-335
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA TO APPROVE THE SUBMITTAL OF THE 1998-99
CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION
REPORT FOR THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
PROGRAM TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad, is a recipient of federal Community Developr
Block Grant (CDBG) funds administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Ur
Development (HUD);
WHEREAS, a Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report is requirec
the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, for review of the City's perfomanci
carrying its Annual Strategy and in relationship to meeting the City's overall five year priori
and strategies for housing and comm~ty development;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has considered the City's 1998
Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report for the Community Development Blc
Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken all testimony into account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the C
of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1 , The above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City of Carlsbad's 1998-99 Consolidated Annual Performance a
Evaluation Report for the Community Development Block Grant Program is here
approved for submission to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Developmer
3. That the City of Carlsbad published a notice in a local general circulation newspal
announcing a fifteen (15) day public review and comment period on the 1998-
Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report.
