RESOLUTION NO. 99-474
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING A DONATION OF $5000 FROM WESTERN PACIFIC
HOUSING TO THE CARLSBAD CITY LIBRARY AND APPROPRIATING
DONATION TO THE LIBRARY GIFTS AND BEQUESTS FUND.
WHEREAS, Western Pacific Housing has donated $5000 to the library, and;
WHEREAS, Mr. Scot C. Sandstrom, Vice President of Development for Wester1
Pacific Housing bas indicated that this donation will be used to purchase new children’
books.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City c
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the donation of $5000 from Western Pacifi
Housing on behalf of the citizens of Carlsbad, and hereby appropriates these funds tc
the Library Gifts and Bequests Fund.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Counc:
of the City of Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the 2nd day o
November , 1999, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard and Kulchin
NOES: None
