RESOLUTION NO. 99-5 15
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING THE RECOMMENDATION OF
THE COMMUNITY ACTIVITY GRANT COUNCIL
SUBCOMMITTEE AND ALLOCATING FUNDS
TO THE ORGANIZATIONS IDENTIFIED
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California,
appointed a two member Council subcommittee to review Community
Activity Grant applications and make a recommendation for funding; and
WHEREAS, the Council subcommittee has recommended five
organizations and their funding level.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the following organizations are hereby granted funds in the
amounts shown from the Community Activity Grants fund for the
1999-00 fiscal year:
Palomar Shuttle $5,000
Barrio Carlsbad Fiesta - 2000 5,000
Carlsbad Invasive Species and Habitat Education 4,450
Carlsbad Volunteer Trail Program 15,000
Children's Museum Traveling Exhibit 10,000
Total $39,450
