RESOLUTION NO. 99-517
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PURCHASE
OF FORESTRY FIRE HOSE
WHEREAS, WHEREAS, it is advantageous to the City to join with other agencies
in the purchase of fire hose; and
WHEREAS, bids submitted by two vendors were judged against known criteria;
and
WHEREAS, KMP Fire was the lowest, responsible bidder submitting a responsive
bid;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the bid from KMP Fire is hereby accepted and the Purchasing Officer is
hereby authorized to execute a Purchase Order for these items as the need
arises. Prices are firm through the contract period of one year beginning
January 1, 2000 through December 31, 2000 which may be renewed by the
City Manager for four (4) additional one (1) year periods.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad held on the 14th day of DECEMBER , 1999, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
