A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM THE CARLSBAD ARTS ASSOCIATES
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Arts Office. provides “a variety of quality cultural progr:
4 including all forms of visual and performing arts, to all Carlsbad residents”; and
5 WHEREAS, the purpose of the Carlsbad Arts Associates is to support the programs oi
6 Carlsbad Arts Office; and
7 WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Arts Associates is providing funds in the amount of $12,00

assist with the City’s summer jazz concert series and special events; and
WHEREAS, the $12,000 will be deposited in the Arts Office Special Events Fund . -

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbac
follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct. 2. That the donation of $1 2,000 from the Carlsbad Arts Associates is accepted.
3. That the funds are hereby deposited into the Arts Office’s Special Events Miscellaneous Outside Services account.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 8th day of February ,2000, by the following vc
to wit:
