RESOLUTION NO. 2000-77
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, FOR APPROVAL OF PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZATION TO PUBLISH AN
INVITATION FOR BIDS FOR FOXES LANDING SEWER LIFT STATION
UPGRADE: CMWD PROJECT NO. 98-407: CONTRACT NO. 36561
VVHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has determined

necessary and in the public interest to approve the plans and specifications and authc
publishing and advertisement for bids for the Foxes Landing Sewer Lift Station Upgrade; CM
Project No. 98-407; Contract No. 36561; and

VVHEREAS, funds appropriated in the 199912000 Budget for the lift station upgrade 10 I I available; and 11
WHEREAS, plans and specifications for Foxes Landing Sewer Lift Station Upgri
CMWD Project No. 98-407, Contract No. 36561; have been prepared by the Department of PL
Works Dlepartment-Design Engineering Division staff with a cost estimate of $1,395,000, incluc
$120,0013 for design and $275,000 for inspection, administration, and contingencies are on fit
the Department of Public Works-Design Engineering Division; and

VVHEREAS, authorization is hereby granted by the City Council to publish an lnvitatior 17
18 Bids in accordance with Section 3.28.080 of the Municipal Code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlst 19
20 California, as follows:
21 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans and specifications and cost estimate of $1,395,000 are approved
3. That the Director of Public Works is authorized to publish an invitation for bid

accordance with Section 3.28.080 of the Municipal Code.
