RESOLUTION NO. 2000-80
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN
AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
SERVICES FOR THE COLE LIBRARY REMODEL
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California has previously aw;
a contract for the Cole Library Remodel Project, City Project No. 33841, hereafter referred
the “Project;” and
WHEREAS, a scope of work and fee schedule for needed construction manage
services for the Project have been prepared with B & G Consultants for these services with
firm determined to be uniquely qualified to provide these services within the City’s abbrev
available time frame; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds it necessary, desirable, and in the p
interest to proceed with an agreement to provide the required services for the Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That an agreement with B & G Consultants is hereby approved and the May
authorized to execute said agreement. Following the Mayor’s signature of said amendmen
City Clerk is directed to forward copies of this resolution and the executed agreement tc:
Michael Giffin, c/o B & G Consultants, 750 B Street, Suite 1860, San Diego, California 9
and the Library and Community Development Department.
