A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, SELECTING SPECIFIC PROJECTS FOR FUNDING UNDER
THE 2000-2001 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTIHOME
PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF A 2000-2005
CONSOLIDATED PLAN TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND
URBAN DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, held a public hearing on MI
7, 2000 to .accept comments on the needs of low and moderate income persons and the propo
submitted for funding consideration under the 2000-2001 Community Development Block Grant/HO
Program;
WHEREAS, the City Council considered the CDBG Funding Advisory Committ
recommendations for project funding allocations;

WHEREAS, the City Council selected the projects to be included in the City of Carlsbad’s 21
2001 Community Development Block GrantlHOME Program; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has taken all testimony into account.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the projects selected at the City Council meeting of March 21,2000 are hereby apprc
at the indicated funding levels for inclusion in the City’s 2000-2001 Comml
Development Block GrantlHOME Program.

3. That the Housing and Redevelopment Director is authorized to submit the City's 2000-2
Consolidated Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for appr
upon expiration of the public review and comment period.
II PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
of Carlsbad, California, held on the 2 1 s t day of March ,2000, by the following vote, to wit:
