A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARILSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, APPROPRIATING $1,380 FROM THE HOUSING TRUST FUND
FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THE CITY OF VISTA FOR EXTENDING
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FORWARD THE APPROPRIATION
TO THE CITY OF VISTA.
THE OPERATION OF THE 1999-2000 WINTER EMERGENCY SHELTER AND
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad desires to cooperate with other local agencies to address
shelter needs of homeless persons and families; and

s Winter Emergency Shelter for homeless families and single women; and
WHEREAS, the City of Vista is requesting funding assistance to extend the 1999-2000 1

10 WHEREAS, approximately 3% of those utilizing the 1999-2000 Vista Winter Regi.
Emergency Shelter have identified Carlsbad as their most recent home;

12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council hereby appropriates $1,3 80 from the Housing Trust Fund a;
additional financial contribution to the City of Vista for their Winter Emergency Homeless Shelter
l5 authorizes the City Manager to forward the contribution to the City of Vista.

California, on the 18th day of - 2000, by the following vote, to 7
