RESOLUTION NO. 2000-149
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF
THE 2000/2003 USED OIL BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND
APPOINTING A SIGNATURE AUTHORITY
5 WHEREAS, grant funding has been established by the California Recycling Act anc

available to cities and counties through the California Integrated Waste Management Board
establishing and maintaining local used oil collection programs that encourage recycling
appropriate disposal of used oil; and, 8
9 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is desirous of applying for these funds; and,
WHEREAS, the program requires that the application be approved and a signatt 10
authority be appointed by resolution. 11
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsb; 12

California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. The submittal of the 2000/2003 Used Oil Block Grant application is approved.
3. The Deputy Public Works Director, Management Analyst, or designee 2
appointed as the signature authorities for the project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Cour
