HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-06-06; City Council; Resolution 2000-1731 2 3 4 5 6 7 6 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 16 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 26 RESOLUTION NO. 2000-173 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNATED REPRESENTATIVE TO EXECUTE PROGRAM SUPPLEMENT AGREEMENTS FOR FEDERAL-AID PROJECTS PURSUANT TO THE MASTER AGREEMENT ADMINISTRATING AGENCY-STATE AGREEMENT FOR FEDERAL-AID PROJECTS, AGREEMENT NO. 1 l-5308. WHEREAS, the City and State have previously entered into State Agreement for Federal-Aid Projects Agreement No. 1 I-5308; and WHEREAS, disbursement of Federal Funds requires a Program Supplement Agreement for each project; and WHEREAS, the City Council approves each project and allocates funding with the Capital Improvement Program Budget each year; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that receipt of this supplemental funding is beneficial to the transportation system for both the City and the State; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds it would be more expedient and cost-effective and, therefore, in the best interest of the City to authorize the City Manager or his designated representative to execute Program Supplement Agreements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Manager or his designated representative be authorized to execute Program Supplement Agreements with the State of California to receive payment of Federal-Aid Funds. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council held on the day of 6th TUllp I 2000 by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard and Kulchin 1 ATTEST: &tic% L&%AINE M.
