RESOLUTION NO. 2000-212
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA,
ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM BONNIE BRISCO TO THE
CARLSBAD CITY LIBRARY AND APPROPRIATING THE
FUNDS TO THE LIBRARY GIFTS AND BEQUESTS FUND
WHEREAS, Ms. Bonnie Brisco has donated $10,000 to the Carlsbad City Library
in memory of her aunt and long time resident, Helene D. Bailey; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad accepts this gift to the Carlsbad City Library
and appropriates the funds to the Library Gifts and Bequests fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the donation in the amount of $10,000 is hereby appropriated to the
Library Gifts and Bequests Fund.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad, California, at a regular meeting held on the 11th day of
July 1 2000, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Ha
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Nygaa
