RESOLUTION NO. 2000-351
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE WORK AS COMPLETE AND DIRECTING THE
RECORDATION OF THE NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR THE PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT UPGRADE AT CALAVERA PARK, CONTRACT NO POO-02
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad has previously appropriated funds for
the Playground Equipment Upgrade at Calavera Park, Contract No POO-02, hereinafter referred to
as the “Project,“; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has previously awarded a construction contract for the
Project; and
WHEREAS, the Project work has been satisfactorily completed; and
WHEREAS, a Notice of Completion has been prepared for the Project; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds it necessary, desirable and in the public
interest to accept the completed work for the Playground Equipment Upgrade at Calavera
Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the completed work is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is directed
to record the Notice of Completion and then the ten percent retention is to be released thirty-five
days after recordation of said Project.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad City Council
held on the 5th day of December , 2000 by the following vote, to wit:
Hall, Finnila, Nygaard and Kulchin.
