RESOLUTION NO. 2000-368
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A
REVISED SALARY SCHEDULE FOR CLASSIFICATIONS
REPRESENTED BY THE CARLSBAD CITY EMPLOYEES’
ASSOCIATION.
WHEREAS, representatives of management and the Carlsbad City Employees’
Association conducted negotiations pursuant to the Meyers-Milias-Brown Act
regarding wages and other terms and conditions of employment for the period January
1,200O to December 3 1,2002; and
WHEREAS, said representatives reached agreement and submitted the
Memorandum of Understanding to the City Council which was approved; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding call for a 4%
general wage increase effective January 1,2001, and
WHEREAS, funds for this salary adjustment are available and have been
included in the General Fund operating budget for Fiscal Year 2000/01,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the City of Carlsbad General Employees’ Salary Schedule set forth in
Exhibit A, attached hereto and made a part thereof, is adopted.
3. That the City of Carlsbad CMWD Salary Schedule set forth in Exhibit B,
attached hereto and made a part thereof, is adopted.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Carlsbad
City Council held on the 12th dayof December ,2000, by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Finnila, Nygaard and Kulchin.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
